Importing Master Data to Odoo 12.
Hi guys! It’s been a long time since we discussed Odoo. So in this article, we are going to discuss Odoo again, okay!
Preparations.
Before we start, there are things that we should have to prepare, those are:
The Data
We can access the data from akhdaniel GitHub repository. Then, we can download or clone the repository and then get the .csv files as shown here.
The Steps.
Next, we can follow the steps which will be explained in this video.
There will be some errors during the installation so that I will explain the solutions too. Don’t worry, be happy!
“You cannot remove/deactivate anc account which is set on a customer vendor.”
You will see the same problems in Stackoverflow. This error will be explained well there. All you have to do is delete every value in Company Properties, Journals, and Taxes items. Remember, don’t ever delete the item entity. Just delete the value.
“Chart of Accounts in Accounting not shown.”
To solve this problem, you need to go to the settings>user>edit your user. You need to check the Accountant to give the user all access in Accountant. Reload the page and go back to Accountant module.
Settings in Inventory.
Don’t forget to check these 3 items in inventory settings. You will be able to import the rest of the data by checking them. Watch the video for details.
